Summer Custodial/Maintenance Help 

All Buildings

June 10, 2024 to August 8, 2024

(Monday-Thursday) 8-10 hours/day x 8 weeks - hours determined by supervisor

Hourly Rate:  $12.00/hour for new summer staff

                       $13.00/hour for returning summer staff 

QUALIFICATIONS:  The qualification requirements listed below represent minimum levels of educational achievement, training, skill, and/or ability necessary.

1. Must be at least 16 years of age by June 1
2. Demonstrated aptitude for assigned responsibilities
3. Must be able to speak, understand, read, and write English
4. Must be able to safely lift and carry up to 35 pounds a minimum distance of 10 feet
5. Must be able to climb and descend 10 steps on a stepladder. Work on scaffold or lift
6. Must be able to stand and walk for up to eight hours/day
7. Experience or willingness to learn
8. Be of good moral character (honest and trustworthy)
9. Skills to work with people – pleasant, positive, enthusiastic
10. Ability to read and comprehend manuals for minor repair tasks
11. Ability to use time effectively
12. Ability to maintain good personal hygiene and well-groomed appearance
13. Good organization skills – attention to detail
14. Ability to observe, assess a situation and problem solve
15. Ability and willingness to work as a team member and independently

Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151)

Pennsylvania State Criminal Record Check (Act 34)

Federal Criminal History Record Check (Act 114)
