Position Summary:

The After-School Library position involves monitoring students who stay after school and use the library for studying, clubs, social time, homework, etc. The monitor should be able to address students' basic questions or concerns and assist with very general library questions. The monitor may on occasion check out a book for a student, but this skill is not mandatory for the position. The monitor is required to close up the library by turning all lights off and locking all doors when leaving. Essentially, the position requires that an adult be in the room while students are using the library after school.
